DEISY C. BOSCAN, PhD, combines her bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish) with more than 15 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in an array of matters. Dr. Boscan is a licensed psychologist, a certified adult psychoanalyst, and is currently concluding her training in child psychoanalysis.   She holds an appointment as an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the psychiatry department of the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, and is in private practice in San Diego.  During the two years through August, 2013, Dr. Boscan served as the Vice President for North America of the International Psychoanalytic Studies Organization (IPSO), an affiliate of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA), and currently serves on several committees of the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA), as well as on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center (SDPC).
