Margaret Sawires, Psy.D.

Dr. Margaret Sawires works in private practice in East Village/Downtown, San Diego & has been serving the greater San Diego community for nearly a decade.  She received her doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology, and earned her post-doctorate specialization in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings and with a wide range of unique individuals with varying issues. Dr. Sawires specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, cultural issues, as well as personality problems.  She is fluent in both English and Arabic. She accepts Medicare, TriCare, and most PPO insurances (Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, Magellan, United, etc.) and is able to offer a sliding scale.
